News and Homework for Dec 10th
The school is having a Christmas Sock Campaign. If you would like to bring in a pair of new socks to go to a family in need, please bring them to school. We will place your name on a Christmas tree in the front lobby of the school for every pair brought in.
Please remember to bring some cardboard for social class on Monday.
For students who are requiring a new agenda, they can be purchased in the office for $5. This is an important way for the school and home to communicate so it is crucial that each student have one at school each day.
The students have been working on a variety of projects for the past month. Many of these need to be brought in on Monday, Dec 13th. These include the following:
* Sky Science Unit Project
* Popcorn Bag Book Report
* Moon Observations - each student should have 12.
* Writers Workshop - the students story should be now at the stage where a "good copy" is complete. As well, 2 illustrations should be completed.
* Mr.Mathur's Health Project is due on Tuesday.
For the weekend:
Please add words to your spelling list and free read.
Have fun Christmas shopping and enjoying the great weather!!
