The students now have access to their own school email. Please sit down with them and go thru this. They have a Acceptable Use Policy that they must follow. This is located on page 11 of their agenda. I will be sending some homework assignments via email now so that they get accustomed to checking this on a regular basis.

The students should be putting the finishing touches on their " Stranger Came Ashore" project. This must be handed in on Friday, Feb 18th. Students who chose to hand the project in on Thursday will have the chance to make revisions.

The students have completed their speech on "Hero's". They need to make any necessary revisions and practice as often as possible. They should do this as if they were presenting to the class. The speech must be 2 minutes in length.

The students are doing an excellent job with their free reading. Please continue to read for 20 minutes a night and bring in your book information as you complete each book.
