News - Tutoring Available

Information

1) For those who are interested....
the U of L is starting a new tutoring club. There is NO charge to students. The tutors have to have a criminal check, be members of the university staff, students or community. They must meet the students in a public place- (eg. the library)- they are NOT allowed to tutor in the student's home. They cannot provide or accept rides in a vehicle with the students ot the student's parents/guardians. The tutors are to provide at least one hour of tutoring a week- although there can be more. If problems arise, the tutoring club will make every effort to correct them.
If you feel that your son/daughter could benefit from this, please contact John R. Keyes at the U of L.

It is important that they are reading a minimum of 20 minutes every night inorder to have this project completed on time. This will be their main homework assignment for the next 10 days.

2) The students need to complete their "Design a Planet " assignment from last week. This is due on Friday.
