Chinook Arch Regional Library System is offering a Teen Online Reading Club - giving the opportunity to read and review books and then discuss their ideas and opinions with others in a discussion forum or through a live chat. By posting their reviews on the club's website, the teens are entered into a weekly draw to win prizes and there will be a grand prize draw at the end of the summer.
Students can access the online Reading Club at www.teensrc.ca
The club will be up and running by June 15.

Another summer reading / volunteering opportunity is Ready, Set, Read offered at Lethbridge Public Library. This program matches readers from grades 5-12 with young readers (grades 1-3). The objectives are to nurture the love of reading in children in a non-competitive, supporting environment - to promote youth helping youth - to stimulate and encourage the use of the library and it's services.
